Vision for the Year '96-97

Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful. And pray for us, too, that God may open a door for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains. (Colossians 4:2-3)

This year is the "Year of Prayer", to provide a foundation from which to spread the good news of Jesus. We must pray so that God can open a door so that we can preach Christ crucified. Without a serious commitment to prayer and furthering our relationship with God our evangelism won't be as effective.

Writing what our Vision for the year is is a difficult thing to do, what shall our focus be? What issues do we need to address? The fact of the matter is that God wants his son Jesus to be proclaimed in this college. We are the only one that are gong to do it. His Son has provided a way of salvation and showed His intense love for us by taking the punishment we deserved on the cross. This is something we should not keep to ourselves. The question is how do we attract people to the message of Christ? What makes us different? The Bible speaks constantly that we should be set apart form the world.

People should know that God exists by the way we are, they should see a difference.
